| KNITWEAR DESIGN AND TECHNOLOGY [KDT]

This 2-year postgraduate diploma programme covers design, knitted fabric development, garment development, production manufacturing technology and merchandising. The Knitwear Design and Technology programme has been methodically planned to incorporate all areas of knowledge required for the Indian Knitwear industry.

| FASHION DESIGN AND CLOTHING TECHNOLOGY [FDCT] |
Apart from Diploma programme NIIFT offers one year certificate course for those who interested in acquiring design skills. This part time programme offers scope to the budding professionals to undergoing vocational training for self employment purpose

| FASHION RETAIL MANAGEMENT (FRM) |
- Ability in Freehand Drawing
- Quality of 3D visualization, modeling skills (not computer but physical)
- Knowledge of Technical drawing (orthographic, isometric, axonometric)

- You may be from any of these or similar backgrounds:
Technical colleges, architecture schools, people with experience in
industry with a minimum of 2 years of participation

- Admission to NIIFT Diploma programme is strictly on merit as assessed at the entrance examination. NIIFT's entrance test is conducted as
per the following procedure.
